The San Antonio & Northern Railroad is the HO layout built by the San Antonio Model Railroad Association. As featured recently in The Marker Lamp, this is a flowing layout designed for running trains, both fun runs with long trains and long runs, and operating sessions with plenty of switching options.
The layout occupies about 3000 sq ft of the Bob Clarke Rail Heritage Museum. It may seem mostly completed, though visitors will find various projects with work continuing. A new port scene is being added to one end of the layout and progress is well underway
Room is completely climate controlled with emergency lighting. Room will accommodate 10 – 12 visitors at a time in addition to operators.
